What Lies Beneath
Kaylie got her bathroom decorated this past Friday. I went to Wal Mart and found some pretty cute items including a blue bath mat so she wouldn't slip or fall during bath time.
I honestly didn't think it would turn into a disaster. I made Kaylie her bubble bath with extra bubbles and lots of toys... and then dipped her in.
Kaylie- my sweet, patient daughter... never really one to throw fits started SCREAMING bloody murder. I was quite surprised and checked double checked the temperature of the water but it was lukewarm. She would not sit, stand or touch that bath mat. I tried to make her sit on it, but she just cried the whole time and scooted to the back of the tub. So, as a very very mean Mommy- I picked her up and MADE her sit on the mat while she got scrubbed down.
Poor Kaylie. But safety comes first. :)

Letter for Kaylie
Baby Love,
Who gave you permission to grow up?! I can't believe how fast time is going especially when I look at all your pictures on your blog. You have grown so much; from this tiny beautiful newborn to a wonderful gorgeous toddler. I have a little girl with a spunky personality and a blooming independence. I know growing up is a fact of life, but why so fast? I want so much to cherish every minute with you for fear that if I blink, I might miss something. We are so, so blessed.
You are going to be an outstanding big sister, and we can't wait for you to see what this world has to offer.
