Last night Kaylie did not want to go to sleep... no amount of soft singing, warm bottle feeding or rocking would do the trick. She just wanted to play and laugh! We discovered her knees are extremely ticklish!

Rain, rain Go away!

It's been raining on and off all weekend! Welcome to Germany folks!

It's all good though- Kaylie is looking mighty warm and cozy in her new hat, although I don't know if she likes it or not...

We found an amazing house in Stuttgart! I absolutely love it and it's in a really cute area. The Landlord seems to like us and is willing to let us paint and decorate to our liking.

Once we get down there I plan on getting Kaylie into Child Care. They have some really great programs but there is a huge waiting list. I think it will be wonderful for her to interact with other babies and become more socialized in that aspect.

Kaylie was quite a good baby on the drive down and back. I took some pictures of her when we were playing in the backseat. She just loves her bugs that dangle from the car seat holder. Take a look!

Goodbye Wiesbaden, Hello Stuttgart!

Well it's definite!

We are moving to Stuttgart in the next couple of days and we are all excited! I added some pictures that I got off of Google that I thought were interesting and I can't wait to see them for myself!

Kaylie has had a pretty relaxing day. We just started her on rice cereal so she has been sleeping for longer periods of time throughout the night.

We are off to look at some houses! Hopefully I'll get some cute pictures of Kaylie down in Stuttgart!

*note* I just had to add that picture of Starbucks... Yea for American Coffee!!

A Good Tuesday

So far we have had a busy morning!

We got her formula at the Grocery store and ran into a friend, and then went to have Kaylie's passport pictures taken- Which she HATED! They came out cute, but I can't blame Kaylie for hating such a huge flash and a bossy photographer.

We came home, had a bottle, and played for a little while and now she is down for a nap. It's been a good day so far and I got some cute pictures with the camera. The one picture of Kaylie with her toys is pretty funny.. she has such a tight grip and such a serious face!

Play with Me!!

Kaylie is becoming more and more active with her rattles and dangling toys. She loves to be played with and everyday she gets better with her motor skills!

Here she is pretty exhausted but lookin' berry cute as she looks at the camera with her toys behind her.

Happy Father's Day!

Kaylie and I made John a pillow for his 1st Father's Day from an idea I got from Martha Stewart.. of course her's was perfection, but ours was made with tons of love!

Trying to get up....

Here I am!

It's tough being a baby!

Little Kaylie and I have had a LONG day.

Friends came into town to visit and we went sightseeing downtown and picked up some sushi for lunch. Kaylie is becoming a well cultured baby here in Germany!

As soon as we came back and she had her bottle it was off to take a nap and wait for Daddy to come home.

I gathered all of her little stuffed animals in her room like Eeyore, Pink Bear, Care Bears, Night-Night Bear, Winnie the Pooh and some little guys that I don't have names for yet.

Needless to say, Kaylie looks adorable in the green dress Robin sent over for her!

Miss Kaylie is ready for bed in her new jammies!

She's getting so big! She LOVES getting ready for her night-time routine.... Getting a full bottle, her nightime lavendar lotion, and then a quick diaper change and she will be ready to curl up in her crib for a good nights sleep!
